The session begins with a 10 minute mindfulness practice. Participants will then be gently guided into a meditative trance state by the rhythmic beat of the buffalo drum combined with the restorative flow of Reiki energy, soaking up the healing vibrations of the drum in a deeply relaxed state. The session will complete with some short reflections and closing words. No prior knowledge or experience is required to attend.

This falls not long after the summer solstice. Join us to re connect with the energies of abundance and joy, peak growth and wholeness. It is a time to acknowledge the ripening of your ideas & achievements – from seeds sown in winter and spring. It is a time of expansion and celebration.
This is a set of 4 workshops running through the year.
These are mini 3 hour retreats around the solstices and equinoxes. They are an opportunity to tap into the qualities, energies, rhythm and cycles of the seasons to support you in your life. And we all know that a bit of 'seasoning' adds flavour to life!!
Each mini retreat has its own theme and will offer time in nature, meditation, movement and sharing time. They are open to all.
Location: All mini retreats are held on the land at Michaels Folly (Strawbale Studio) SG13 8NE
Cost: £45 per person
There is a maximum of 12 participants per workshop.
You will receive a joining letter a week before the event with information regarding what you may need for the day.

This is your introduction to Reiki.
Once booked, you will receive your training materials via post and email. The pre course learning may take you approximately 16 hours, depending on your learning style and pace. The in-person training day is largely practical. We will cover some of the history of Reiki, understanding the precepts, you will receive your reiki attunements. You will begin learning how to feel energy through practical exercises. We will also do 2 of the daily reiki meditations/energy practices. You will carry out a standard reiki treatment with some guidance and prompts, if needed.
You do not need to memorise the training materials, you will have them to refer back to and you will be guided and supported through everything on the day.
You will leave the day with a framework for your personal reiki practice and you can give free reiki treatments to friends and family.
Reiki Level 1 does not qualify you to work as a practitioner with members of the public. You cannot charge for reiki as this stage and you would not be able to get insured.
You will receive your certificate at the end of the training day provided you have engaged in and completed tasks throughout the day, to a satisfactory standard.
We will discuss ongoing support and next steps available to you.

This is the next level.
I would recommend a 3 month gap between level 1 and 2 for you to integrate and embed what you have learnt at level 1. However, I would consider this best practice, rather than compulsory.
Once booked, you will receive your training materials via post and email. The pre course learning may take you approximately 21 hours, depending on your learning style and pace and how much time you want to spend in practice.
You will gain a deeper insight into the different types of energy used within Reiki practice and their related symbols, and how you might work with them. We will do various energy exercises and practices as individuals, and in pairs to embed the learning and you will receive your level 2 attunements.
You will leave the day with an expanded understanding and framework for your personal and professional practices.
Reiki Level 2 qualifies you to work as a practitioner with members of the public (subject to obtaining insurance). You can now charge for treatments and may wish to join a professional body for reiki practitioners, if not already done so at level 1.
You will receive your certificate at the end of the training day provided you have demonstrated competent application of learning materials and engaged in practical tasks during the day, to a satisfactory standard.
We will discuss ongoing support and next steps available to you.

This day retreat is a 'homecoming'.
A day to come out of your mind and into your body via the senses, including the 6th sense, your intuitive inner wisdom, the wisdom that already knows exactly what you need. This day will offer you the space to connect back to that inner wisdom through various guided sensory practices & experiences. Everything is an invitation and you can participate in each process to the level at which you feel comfortable.
This gentle journey through the senses will include (but not limited to), a Cacao ceremony, chanting, guided sensory practice or drum journey, dance, breathwork, sharing time. Depending on weather and how the day unfolds, we may also spend some time outside and have an opportunity for a fire circle.
A hearty warming soup and bread for lunch plus snacks & hot drinks will be provided, (you are however free to bring your favourite nibbles and treats!!)
You will be sent a brief questionnaire a couple of weeks prior to the workshop regarding your needs and what you hope to get from the day. The program may change slightly depending on the needs of the group as a whole.
You will also a receive an email a few days prior to the event, letting you know what you may need to bring on the day for your own comfort.

This introductory talk will give attendees a brief explanation on what Reiki is and its origins, an introduction to the reiki precepts, an overview of the style of reiki I use (traditional Usui Reiki) and the style and ethos of my teaching. We will also do some fun energy practices.
There will also be time for Q&A.
Any one who attends the session and books onto the Reiki level 1 course on 11th July, will receive a £25 discount on the training investment. (This offer will only be available for 24 hours after the event)
